Welcome to the Ancaster Saddle Club! Attention Members: Set-up of the jump course and trail course will take place on Saturday, June 27th. This is a great way to earn volunteer hours. Set-up of the trail course will begin at 4 p.m. in the center ring. Set-up of the jump course will begin at 5 p.m. in the south ring. Hope to see you there! Youth Members! If you are interested in competing in the Ontario Saddle Club Youth Team Tournament, click here for details. 2009 Show Dates: All Shows will be held at the NEW Ancaster Fair Grounds, 630 Trinity Road, SW corner of Hwy 52 (Trinity Road) and Hwy 2 (Wilson Street), Ancaster L0R 1R0. Take the Hwy 52 Copetown exit from Hwy 403. Proceed south towards Hwy 2. From the north, enter the grounds via Trinity Road using the 3rd driveway. To view a Google map, click here. Western Performance and English Classes begin at 9:00 AM, Western Games Classes begin at 12:00 PM. May 24 June 28 July 26 August 23 September 13 Rain Date: September 20 Rain Policy: In the event of the Show being cancelled due to rain the decision will be posted on the website by 6 a.m. the day of the show. Also a mass e-mail will be sent before 6 a.m. the day of the show. A contact telephone number will also be provided so that members may telephone if they are unsure of the status of the show. Year End Awards Banquet: November 14, 2009 Tips for Showing at the New Fairgrounds: * Come prepared. There are no shade trees yet at the new fairgrounds. Don't forget your hat and sunscreen. * Bring water for you and your horse. There are plans to have running water at the rings. It is likely that this will not be ready for the first show. While there is running water at the concession building it is a bit of a walk. * Western riders, bring hat pins.
